About Us - Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Commissioned Security Officers, Supervisors, Team Leads, Coordinators, and Managers

  • College Degree from an accredited four-year university or five years of supervisory law enforcement experience

  • Current full-time Peace Officer with a minimum ten years of continuous service or retired law enforcement officer with fifteen years of full-time continuous experience

  • Commissioned Security Officer licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau

  • 300 hours of relevant private security work experience

  • Successful background check

  • Successful in-depth personal interview

 

In addition to the minimum qualifications, our Personal Protection Officers must have the following training and experience:

  • Personal Protection Officer authorization from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau

  • Successful completion of an advanced executive / dignitary / personal protection school (30 hour minimum) in addition to the state-mandated Level IV training

  • Three years or 300 hours of experience in dignitary / executive protection

  • Three years supervisory experience while employed by a law enforcement agency, US Military, or in a corporate security role

  • Current U.S. Passport

 

In addition to the minimum qualifications, our Private Investigators must have the following training and experience:

  • Licensed Private Investigator by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau

  • 15 years of investigative experience while employed by a law enforcement agency, US Military, or corporate security role

 

Non-Commissioned Security Officers

  • Successful completion of Level 1 and Level 2 training as mandated by the State

  • Level 1 and Level 2 test score of 90% or higher (State mandate is 75%)

  • Current Non-Commissioned Security Officer license from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau

  • Minimum of two years experience in law enforcement, security, or management

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Successful background check

  • Successful in-depth personal interview
